The newest, Free teen Hangout
Want a spot to hang with your friends, play games, chill, and eat free food? Check out the new Teen Center at the Old Town Players. Built for teens by teens, it features tv, video games, books, snacks, laundry and more!
Thanks to the City of Vincennes, and several other local partnering agencies, now you can have immediate access to an awesome spot any day after school.
Fun, Safe, Inclusive
Old Town Players, our local community theatre, is hosting our new Vincennes Teen Center. This ideal location for teens to be close to local businesses, the police station, and residential areas.
Not only are Old Town Players board members supporting the renovation of the space to be an inclusive spot for after school activities, they are also making modifications to their upcoming season to offer additional opportunities for you to be involved in their productions.
Staffed by Those Who Care
The center will be staffed daily by graduate level interns of the Grasshopper Group who are studying to become social workers & adolescent therapists.
These interns, with Liz Meeks, Clinical Director, will offer opt-in programming like Expressive Art Therapy (with parental permission).
In addition to this amazing team, a Vincennes Police Officer will be onsite for your safety.
Van Go is providing transportation from your school to the Vincennes Teen Center.
When all the fun is done, Van Go will take you home at 6:00 pm. Parental pick-up begins at 5:30 pm.
